There are several ways to remove your fountain water. It would depend on the type and size of your fountain and the resources available to you. Insert one end of the plastic tube to the fountain, and use the other end as a big straw to suck out the water using your mouth. As the water approaches your mouth, then lead your end of the tube to a bucket or any other container. If the container is lower than your fountain then gravity will continue to suck out the water. Be reminded that the tube that you will use must be clean and avoid drinking water from the fountain because it would contain algae and other bacteria that can be detrimental to your health.

After cleaning your fountain thoroughly, it is advised to add a water treatment to keep your fountain water looking clean and smelling good.
